Road Warriors of the Riverina The Road Warriors: Camp Quality Tour 2009 The 2009 Camp Quality Road Warriors Tour this year sets off on a journey that will continue to change the lives of children living with cancer and their families. Every Road Warrior will be on a mission to raise awareness and money for Camp Quality through a tour that features concerts, walkathons, sky-diving, celebrity golf and more. A Media Launch will take place at Paddys Sounds of Summer at 11am this Sunday 25 October, featuring Korey Livy, with interviews available with the Albury Division of Camp Quality, Road Warriors Tour event manager, Craig Dent, and photo opportunities with Camp Quality children and Korey Livy. Sponsored by Corowa RSL, The Road Warriors will start their tour of concerts and walkathons featuring Gladiators Thunder and Viper, and Country Music Stars, Kelly Hope and Korey Livy. The tour will run from Friday 6 November from Corowa to Friday 13 November at the North Albury Sports Club for the Road Warriors Tour Celebration Concert. On Saturday 7 November, the Road Warriors will engage in a Jumpathon at Corowa Jumpshak, with Thunder at Ground Level catching Viper, Kelly, Korey and students for Corowa High School. On the night of Saturday 7 November, The Road Warriors will perform at the Corowa RSL, with Chantel Leseberg and Emma Percy also part of show that night, before their Celebrity Skins Golf Tournament on Sunday 8 November at Corowa Golf Club. And the action continues with approximately 7,000 students aged between 5 and 18 enjoying the tour… On Monday 9 November, the Road Warriors continue their exciting tour of schools in the Riverina, journeying to High Schools and surrounding primary schools in Albury, Wodonga, Thurgoona, Jindera, Walla, Lockhart, Leeton, and Kooringal, before returning to North Albury Sports Club for the final showdown. Sunday 25 October Paddy’s Sounds of Summer Festival inclusive of media launch and fund-raiser for Camp Quality Road Warriors Tour 2009, featuring Korey Livy. Friday 6 November 1-3pm: Corowa High School, featuring bands from Corowa High, and students from Lowesdale, Savernake, Mulwala, Waygunyah, and Howlong public schools. Saturday 7-8 November 7am-7pm: Corowa Spectacular at Corowa Jump Shak featuring jumps by Viper, Kelly Hope and Korey Livy and students from Corowa High School, and Corowa Football and Netball Club: 7pm: Corowa RSL Concert for audience of 300 featuring Thunder and Viper, Kelly Hope, Emma Percy and Chantel Leseberg. Sunday 8 November 10am: Corowa Golf Club Celebrity Skins followed by luncheon. Monday 9 November 10-11am: Albury High School and West Albury Public School: 1pm-3pm: Wodonga Senior Secondary College, with Middle School 5pm-6pm Visit to Children’s Ward of Albury Base Hospital Tuesday 10 November 10am-12pm: Trinity Anglican College Thurgoona, with Thurgoona Public School: 1pm-3pm: Jindera Public with Burrumbuttock, Walbundrie, Gerogery and Tabletop Public Schools, and Murray High invited.
