Greater Hume Shire's Renewable Energy ProjectGreater Hume Shire Council has partnered with ZEN Home Energy Systems and WAW Credit Union to provide an opportunity for residents to participate in a community bulk purchase of renewable energy solutions, particularly Solar Home Energy and Solar Hot Water Systems. WAW Credit Union will be providing the opportunity for low interest fi nance options to be available to participants in the program. Council has selected ZEN Home Energy Systems as a partner to supply quality renewable energy systems at a community price following on from the successful Towong Community Renewable Energy Program. The introduction of renewable energy in Greater Hume has the potential to create jobs within the Shire and ultimately lead to lower power bills. In addition to reducing your power bills, Greater Hume’s Renewable Energy Project will also cut greenhouse gas emissions in the Shire.
