ClimateIn general the climate in the Shire is typical of inland Southern Australia with dry hot summers, cool winters and the highest rainfall occurring in the late winter and early spring. Rainfall in the western part of the Shire is generally less than that in the east and average temperatures slightly higher because of the different topographical characteristics.
