It was resolved by Greater Hume Shire Council at the July 2009 Council Meeting that water restrictions for the residents connected to the:
- Villages Water Scheme be aligned with restrictions implemented by Albury City Council.
- Culcairn Water Supply be aligned with restrictions implemented by Riverina Water County Council.

For Domestic and Commercial Landscape Gardens
You can use:
Fixed Sprinklers and Sprays - BEFORE 10am and AFTER 5pm on any day
Handheld Hoses - Can be used at any time of day
Dripper Systems - Are allowed at any time on any day

Residents using recycled water, grey water, rain water or water collected in a dam are NOT inlcuded in these restrictions.
It is suggested that residents using the above water sources publicly dsiplay a sign state where the water has been sourced.
