Woomargama 2018
PUBLIC EXHIBITION OF ‘WOOMARGAMA VISION 2018’
Following the Value Management Workshop to consider the most appropriate option for the Woomargama Bypass, Council joined with the Road and Traffic Authority to undertake a visioning exercise with the Woomargama community. This exercise was to establish community views on the future direction for the Woomargama Village.
A community survey, which was underpinned by a community workshop, was distributed to over 100 households in the Woomargama district.
Council, at its May meeting, resolved to place ‘Woomargama Vision 2018’ on public exhibition from Monday 26 May until 5pm Friday 13 June 2008. The document may be viewed at Holbrook Office in Young Street and the Holbrook Library, Library Court Holbrook. Alternatively, the document may be viewed on line at www.greaterhume.nsw.gov.au. Submissions will be received up until 5pm 13 June 2008 and should be addressed to Steven Pinnuck, General Manager, Greater Hume Shire Council, P O Box 99, HOLBROOK NSW 2644.
Council will receive a further report on submissions received at its monthly meeting to be held on 25 June 2008 at Culcairn.
