Doing business with Council

Greater Hume Council utilises a Local Preference Purchasing Policy(PDF, 277KB).  The policy aims to achieve best ‘overall value for money’ for Council in its own procurement, while (where possible) giving preference to local suppliers, and non-local suppliers using local content to support the economic development of the shire.

Businesses who wish to do business with Council should register for Vendor Panel, Council’s preferred procurement system.

Vendor Panel makes it easier to engage with suppliers and increase governance and transparency in Council’s quotation process.

It’s free for suppliers to register and easy to use!
