Rays of Light
Have you lost someone or something and would like them remembered in a unique way? All are invited to join in the community drilling workshop. Join in for a therapeutic, practical and unique approach to facing our loss.
We have the great opportunity to have visiting Tasmanian Artist Melissa Lubke transform your loved ones image into a dazzling group mural.
An open invitation to attend a hands-on workshop at the Henty Men's Shed. The workshop will consist of many visitors drilling thousands of holes to form images of people and things lost to the community. The project will result in a a simple and effective, astronomical piece of community contemporary art call 'Rays of Light".
This activity aims to reach out to men and the rest of the community to get their hands onto tools and process emotions in a practical, distinctive and effective way. The final mural will be acquired to be used as a sculpture screen in the Henty township at a later date.
Send clear photos to firstname.lastname@example.org for selection and preparation by 14th September.
A free morning tea and lunch will also be provided while Allen Hunt from Riverina BlueBell will be sharing about the helpful services they can provide.
