Table Top Mountain Experience
Saturday, 1 February 7:00 am - 9:00 am
Location:
Peregrines Function Centre

This experience involves a 5 - 6 km 2 hr return guided walk consisting of 30 min up and back with 30 minutes at the top of the lookout at the summit. Guide, Phil Rouray, will provide a brief interpretation of the history, geology, flora and fauna of the area. The summit (628 m) provides panoramic views of Lake Hume, The Snowy Mountains, rock formations and the surrounding countryside.

Meet at the Peregrines Function Centre at 6:45 am sharp for a 7:00 am start. Please note that dogs are not allowed on the property.

Bush Fire Relief Obstacle Course

With the carnage and devastation of these traumatic fires, we have put together a family fun day out at the 'Dirty 30 Obstacle Course' in Gerogery.

Come along for a family fun day out while raising money for those in need. All funds raised will be going to Sam McPaul's Family. Get muddy, get wet, and get the kids involved with a kid's obstacle course. Start the morning off at 7:00 am with a guided walk up to the top of Table Top Mountain for $5Cost for the Obstacle Course is $15 per adult and $5 per child. Food will include fresh wraps and sandwiches, a coffee van, BBQ sausages, bacon and egg rolls and steak sandwiches along with slushies.

Entertainment includes the kids obstacle course, markets, jumping castle, slip and slide and kids entertainment.

Henty Agricultural Show

The Annual Henty Agricultural Show has been running for over a century. This annual event held in February, is a showcase of local agricultural produce including grain, sheep, cattle, and local produce. The show provides an opportunity for young rural citizens, with junior judging and handling of cattle, as well as the chance to be crowned Miss Henty Showgirl. With horses, cattle, food, arts and crafts there is sure to be something for all members of the family to enjoy

Holbrook Miniature Railway

Ten Mile Creek Gardens, Holbrook

Enjoy the track through the Ten mile Gardens on the second and fourth Sunday of each month, throughout the year. The railway runs every Sunday during school holidays and by arrangement for parties and groups. Please note the railway does not operate in wet weather.

Modern - of the minute fashion, vintage wares, handcrafted and beautifully curated we have a fabulous selection of retail spaces and galleries showcasing work from both local and regional talent. Take in one of the many monthly markets and come away with not only some great products but the great satisfaction of having supported small communities and the producers that keep them going.

There are still a lot of long warm evenings ahead that can be enjoyed with a meal at your favourite local spot or pack a picnic and head to one of our beautiful parks. Grab some friends and meet for an after work swim or a walk/ride around our town's paths to make the most of the last month of Summer.
