Morgans Lookout Refurbishment

Proudly funded by the NSW Government the Morgans Lookout staircase and viewing platform refurbishment has been successfully completed with the inclusion of additional seating and interpretative signage to be developed during November. Morgan’s Lookout at Walla Walla is a rocky outcrop with incredible views from Table Top Range to The Rock Hill. The outcrop was the hideout for Daniel Morgan, a bushranger during mid-1800's. Today it is one of Greater Hume's major tourist attractions with many visitors enjoying the views, picnics and natural environment. The original stairs were built in 1971, with the newly completed staircase and viewing platform making the site more accessible to younger children and active elderly allowing them to safely climb the stairs and experience the agricultural heartland of Australia, whilst also learning about different land forms which can be viewed from the platform.
