Garage Sale Trail Tutorials
Online
6-7 November 2021

Garage Sale Trail’s series of online workshops, the Trail Tutorials, were so popular last year an expanded version of the program returns on 6-7 November 2021.

As we undergo our national awakening of taking responsibility for the planet we live on, this year’s free series of six Trail Tutorials will be dedicated to learning about the circular economy and how we can all get involved.

Garage Sale Trail has gathered together a team of expert presenters from the worlds of fashion, styling, finance and sustainability. Join fashion designer Kit Willow, 1 Million Women founder Natalie Issacs, finance expert Molly Benjamin, interior designer Adam Powell, master stitcher and maker Daisy Braid, and sustainable fashion educator and eco stylist Nina Gbor as they show you how to DIY your wardrobe, dress sustainably, resell fashion as a side hustle and more. They’ll also share practical tips for hosting a garage sale, both online and in person.

Check the website www.garagesaletrail.com.au/learn for the full Trail Tutorials program and session times.

Garage Sale Trail
Greater Hume and Online
13-14 and 20-21 November 2021

Now over two weekends (13-14 and 20-21 November) you can sell the stuff you no longer need and snag guilt-free bargains!

This year, locals can again do Garage Sale Trail both online or here in Greater Hume (restrictions permitting). Whether you’re going virtual or in-person, after registering as a seller you’ll receive a bunch of tools and tips to set you up for success!

In-person sellers will receive access to free posters, social media assets to help promote their sale, price tags and an all-important covid-safe toolkit. Online sellers will get signage and stuff to decorate their homes and their feeds plus tips and tricks from Garage Sale Trail ambassador and online superseller Danielle Goodwin of Hawkeye Vintage.

This year Garage Sale Trail is mighty pleased to announce a partnership with PayPal. It’s a partnership made in touch-free payment heaven, using PayPal QR codes to make transactions super easy in a covid-19 world. That means touch-free payments if you’re selling IRL and secure, instant payments on the world-wide web for virtual sellers and shoppers.

So aim big! Host a sale on Instagram, Facebook or Tik Tok. Sell in your live stream, sell in your stories or sell in your feed and spread that circular economy love all over the internet. You never know who might want the Furbie that comes to life in the back of your cupboard at 3am, your purple water wave taffeta formal dress or just the stuff you don’t wear much anymore.

Register a sale or shop the trail at https://www.garagesaletrail.com.au/Greater-Hume-Council.
