What to do in Greater Hume in November
Make the most of the sunshine by heading out with your friends and family and a deliciously packed picnic to some of our most beautiful landscapes.
There are plenty of places to choose from in Woomargama National Park, like the Tin Mines and Samual Bollard picnic and camping areas. From here you can surround yourself with gorgeous flowers and wildlife and take a walk up to North lookout to soak in the view of our region.
Wirraminna Environmental Education Centre in Burrumbuttock houses a beautiful picnic spot in their 4-hectare park. The gardens and woodland contain many locally rare native shrubs, wildflowers and grasses that attract a range of animals and the picnic tables are situated next to a picturesque dam where you can feel tranquil and relaxed, immersed in our natural environment.
