A Ballet Story - The Sleeping Beauty

The traditional story of the Sleeping Beauty is brought to life by the dancers of the Allegro Youth Ballet Company. A show for all ages, featuring beautiful dancing music and costumes. You will also have a chance to meet the dancers after the show and see their costumes up close.

Pop The Top Festival, Jindera

Holbrook Miniature Railway
Sunday, 13 October and 27 October, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Location:
Ten Mile Creek Gardens, Holbrook

Enjoy the track through the Ten Mile Gardens on the second and fourth Sunday of each month, throughout the year. The railway runs every Sunday during school holidays and by arrangement for parties and groups. Please note the railway does not operate in wet weather.

Holbrook's gala event Art & Gardens will incorporate art, photography, leather work, sculpture, garden art, natural landscapes and beautiful gardens. Holbrook's guest artist is Albury's Meg Sprouster. This year, five gardens will open during the weekend with lunch provided by local charities. A special market will take place outside the Anglican Centre on Saturday, 12 October.

The Rural Fire Service Cadet Championships
Saturday, 12 & Sunday, 13 October 10:30 am - 2:00 pm

Location: Holbrook Racecourse, Holbrook

The public are invited and encouraged to attend and support these young members in their community service. Attendance is free. Teams are coming from Wagga Wagga, Bega, Eden, Griffith, Bowral and Young to challenge our local cadets from Howlong, Thurgoona, Corowa and Tabletop. All participants will be tested in their leadership, practical skills and competency to the basic firefighter level.

Holbrook Pink Up The Town
October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Holbrook is a registered supporter of the McGrath Foundation Pink Up Your Town for this October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It is the Foundations mission to ensure that every family experiencing breast cancer would have access to a breast care nurse no matter where they lived - for free. The following events are being hosted in support of this event.

Friday, 18 October: Power of Pink Dinner and Auction - The Ten Mile Friday, 6:00pm. $65 pp includes canapes on arrival and a 2 course meal. Tickets are available for sale at The Ten Mile.

Sunday, 27 October: Pink 100 Club - The Riverina Hotel's event starts from 1:30 pm. $100 for two people, this includes food and drinks package. There will be live music by Damien Noll. Tickets are available for sale at the Riverina Hotel.

Monday, 28 October: Pink Up Your Brunch - J&B's Gourmet Cafe from 10:30 am. $40 pp includes brunch and tea/coffee. Tickets are available at J&B's Gourmet Cafe.
