Our library provides are range of services to cater for infants, pre-schoolers and primary age children (except during school holidays).

Children’s Storytime

Storytime plays an important role in introducing children to the magic of books. ... This early introduction to reading develops a child's love of books and fosters a close, loving relationship between parent and child. As children grow older, our choices of books should reflect a child's interests.

Come and join in with lots of early literacy activities such as singing, moving, counting and reading/handling books together whilst making lots of friends and learning to be part of the Story Time group.

School Holiday Activities

Craft sessions are organised for children from 6 to 12 years of age during most school holidays. Bookings are essential. Some activities will incur a charge. Click on What’s On to see what is happening at the Greater Hume Council Libraries.
