Road Safety Officer

The Road Safety Officer (RSO) serving the Greater Hume Council and Lockhart Shire Council is Kim Schultz. Kim has been involved within the Road and Driver Safety Industry for over 16 years delivering Defensive/Advanced, 4X4 and Towing Programs to the Queensland Emergency Services, Mining Industry, Tasmania Fire Service and many other small and large organisations throughout Australia and New Zealand.

The RSO is responsible for promoting road safety awareness and contributing to improved road safety outcomes throughout the two communities by developing and delivering behavioral education programs and influencing the construction of infrastructure to improve road user safety.

The RSO, NSW Police, RMS and Councils implement initiatives and improve road safety at local level by promoting greater involvement and coordination with all road safety stakeholders.
