Tender - TL07-2020/21 - Jingellic Road Upgrade at Giles Creek

The works scope generally covers the reconstruction of a short section of Jingellic Road over Giles Creek. An existing box culvert will need concrete cover slabs and retaining walls constructed to allow road reconstruction over this culvert.

The works involves the widening of existing batters. The general terrain is considered to be steep with access to the toe of existing batters difficult.

Tenders should also address the provisional items listed for works between Giles Creek and Coppabella Road intersection.

It is expected that a tender report will be submitted to the Council meeting to be held on 18 November 2020.

Contracts will be signed soon after that meeting with an expected commencement date to be late in 2020 or early 2021.

A compulsory pre-tender meet will be held on site at 10.00am on Tuesday, 13 October 2020.

Tenders close at 2pm on Tuesday, 3 November 2020.
