Flood Studies

As part of the Floodplain Risk Management Process Council has undertaken Flood Studies and Floodplain Risk Management Studies and Plans for the towns of Culcairn, Henty, Holbrook, Jindera and Walla Walla.

A Flood Study is a comprehensive technical investigation of flood behaviour.

A Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan is the combination of the management study, which is used to identify, assess and compare various risk management options, with the management plan which provides input into the strategic and statuary planning roles of councils.
