Building Surveyor

As Council’s Building Surveyor you will be required to provide an effective and professional building surveying service to a wide range of customers. You will hold as a minimum Grade 3 Accreditation with the Building Professionals Board with our ideal candidate holding Grade 2 Accreditation coupled with demonstrated experience in the assessment of buildings, fire safety measures and development applications in general.

Salary: To attract our ideal candidate, you will be offered a salary in the range of $89,000 - $99,700 per annum for a Grade 2 accredited professional or $79,200 - $88,700 for Grade 3 accreditation. Other benefits on offer include private use of a motor vehicle in accordance with Council’s vehicle leaseback agreement, a 35 hour week and a 9 day fortnight working arrangement.

Location: Flexible with the position located at either Council’s Culcairn or Jindera Office (Jindera is a 10 minute commute from Albury, NSW).
