Jindera Community Garage Sale

The Jindera Pioneer Museum coordinated the first Jindera community garage sale in 1999, with advice and help from the organisers of the Chiltern Community Garage Sale Committee.  They continued to run the garage sale for 3 years. St Mary’s Church, Jindera, organised the event from 2002 to 2017 and in 2018 passed the coordination of the event over to Jindera Rural Care Link Inc.

Local businesses generously sponsor the event. Residents of Jindera Village and Jindera postal areas are invited to register their site to participate. Registrations are now online or via QR code. Visit ruralcarelink.org.au.

Over the years the number of sites has grown from 40 to 70 which makes it the largest community garage sale in the Albury Wodonga area and the biggest and best local recycling event in the district.

If you haven’t been to Jindera before come out and see this hidden gem.

Plenty of food and coffee outlets will feed the hungry shoppers.

Maps - $2 available at the Rural Care Link Op-Shop - 83 Urana Street, Jindera (opposite IGA)
