Change to Greater Hume Council Library Opening Hours

From Saturday 3 July 21 Greater Hume Council Libraries will no longer open on a Saturday. There will also be changes to the hours of the Henty and Holbrook Libraries.

Henty Library

Tuesday – Friday 12.00pm – 5.00pm

Holbrook Library

Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm

The opening hours for all Greater Hume Council Libraries can be view on the Greater Hume Council Library website, Library Facebook pages and Instagram. 

Council has library facilities at Henty, Culcairn and Holbrook while smaller towns and villages are provided with mobile library services. The Greater Hume Libraries offer an extensive collection of books, magazines, sound recordings and DVD’s. Services available at the libraries also include free computer and Wi-Fi access, author talks, homework club, school holiday programs, storytime sessions for children both in the library and online, community programs and computer classes.  

Greater Hume Council will continue to offer Click & Collect at Your Local Library and Home Delivery Services. Please note the Click & Collect service is suspended during COVID-19 restrictions commencing again on Monday 13 September.

Our libraries might be closed, but we have a Website full of FREE eBooks, eAudiobooks, digital magazines, online learning and research resources to keep the whole family going!  To access any of these great e-book resources go to rrl.nsw.gov.au click on “COLLECTION” and under the dropdown you will see “ELIBRARY” under which there are the following marvellous FREE resources -
