Library Open Day - Henty

Between 1pm and 4pm at Henty Library

We would love for individuals and community groups to mingle, share conversations, enjoy and show support for our beautiful libraries. Visitors can leave a note about a favourite library memory or favourite book on the library memory tree, see what community programs we run regularly, enter the competition and watch or take part in various activities. Try your luck and see if you can win the lucky door prize by borrowing the lucky book from a particular display of books. Stay for a board game, some colouring in, spend time with your children at the craft table or playing with the blocks and children’s games. As well as this, each library will run different activities; Henty Library has invited the school children for a special Story Time session, Culcairn Library will have a painting station and a chance for all ages to play a Mario cart time trial, Jindera Library will have a knitting demonstration and at Holbrook Library you can pot up a succulent plant, take part in a free yoga session and enjoy a mini art exhibition put on by the local art group.

Our Open day is part of the Open Doors, Open Books, Open Minds coordinated, statewide library Open Day. Libraries across NSW are shining a light on the wonderful things our libraries do every day.
