- Email the Event Notification and Application Form(PDF, 489KB) to events@greaterhume.nsw.gov.au, ideally you should notify Council 90 days prior to an event, in order to ensure all approvals are gained and receive maximum promotional exposure throughout our networks.
- You will also be required to complete a Risk Assessment(PDF, 462KB), Risk Assessment Word version(DOCX, 28KB) (Risk Assessment Example)(PDF, 260KB), Event Day Running Sheet(PDF, 305KB), Event Day Running Sheet Word version(DOCX, 25KB) and provider a poster or flyer of your Event.
- For information on any additional approvals such as impact traffic, using a council facility (eg: Hall, Park, Sportsground, Public Roadside) you should contact Jackie, 02 6036 0100 or email events@greaterhume.nsw.gov.au
- Go to Forms to download other forms required to Host an Event in Greater Hume.
When organising/planning an event don’t forget to contact the Tourism and Promotions team at Greater Hume Council who can assist you with promotion of your event.
To have your event listed in the on the Greater Hume website events calendar, promoted on our Facebook pages and added to the monthly What’s On newsletter ensure that you have completed and submitted the Event Notification and Application Form for your event prior to the publication deadline.

If your event is likely to impact traffic and/or is using a council facility (eg: Hall, Park, Sportsground, Public Roadside), then your event will need council approval.
