Community Transport

What is community transport?  Who can access it?

Community transport is a service for people who require transport to recreation and shopping areas, access to medical and social services and social contact.

Community transport services are available for people who are experiencing transport disadvantage:

  • People who are financially disadvantaged, isolated or have a mobility impairment.
  • People who are having difficulty with activities of daily living and their carers.
  • People with disabilities and their carers.

Department of Veterans Affairs card holders are eligible users.

Regional Buses on Demand

On Demand is a public transport service that makes travelling within the Riverina Region easier. Whether it's a trip to the shops, social activities, a medical appointment or connecting to major transport interchanges, Regional Buses On Demand can get you where you need to be. Just book a ride at a time that suits you and leave the car at home. Easy!

The towns and villages being serviced are Albury, Burrumbuttock, Culcairn, Henty, Holbrook, Jindera, Gerogery, Gerogery West, Morven, Mullengandra, The Rock, Uranquinty, Wagga Wagga, Walla Walla and Woomargama.
