Changed Traffic Conditions on Hume Highway at Holbrook

Published on 23 March 2022

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Hume Highway at Holbrook to carry out essential maintenance work to provide a smoother and stronger road surface.

Work to rebuild the road surface will be carried out on the southbound carriageway of the Hume Highway between the Teripta crossover and the northern Woomargama Way intersection.

Work will be carried out weekdays between 7am and 5pm from Monday 28 March, and is expected to be completed by Tuesday 12 April, weather permitting.

During the project the southbound carriageway will be closed with traffic diverted through to the northbound carriage way under contraflow.

There will be no access to or from the Hume Highway from the northern Woomargama Way intersection for the duration of the project. Traffic will be detoured via the southern Woomargama Way intersection.

Lane closures, traffic control and reduced speed limits of 40 km/h will be in place for the length of the project and may affect travel times.

Motorists are advised to plan ahead, allow an extra 10 minutes travel time, drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.

Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
