Farmers, producers, Councillors, MPs, industry representatives, and peak bodies are encouraged to register and contribute their voices to this pivotal conversation. This summit is about making sure the people living through the day-to-day impacts of this drought are heard.
“Farmer involvement isn’t just helpful—it’s essential. Farmers are living this every day and their voices must be front and centre in shaping drought policy” Cr Lea Parker, Mayor Greater Hume Council says.
The summit will feature direct contributions from producers and regional leaders, alongside invited NSW Government and Shadow Ministers with portfolios in agriculture, water, emergency services, and regional development.
Key contributors include:
- Producers and graziers from across the southern NSW region
- Agronomists and consultants working on the ground with farming families
- Local agribusiness leaders with insights into fodder, freight, and finance pressures
This is not just a policy discussion—it’s a direct platform for real stories, practical challenges, and urgent calls for action.
