Re-Exhibition of the Draft Jindera Residential Land Use Strategy

Council has prepared the draft Jindera Land Use Strategy (the Strategy) that provides for the future residential growth and development of the Jindera Township for the next 20-30 years. The Strategy was exhibited in March 2021 and is being re-exhibited as the document has been updated to include the following:

  • A newly considered parcel of land that potentially could be rezoned R5 Large Lot Residential.
  • Mapping in the strategy has been updated to better depict the area that potentially could accommodate an expansion of the Jindera Industrial Estate;
  • Re-analysis of land supply and demand;
  • Change of zoning from R5 to R2 for land north of Drumwood Road

In accordance with the Greater Hume Community Participation Plan the Strategy will be re-exhibited from 23 September 2021 until 23 October 2021.

Submissions will be received until the close of business on 23 October 2021. Scroll down to Have Your Say.

It is advised that submissions made to the original exhibition and the current re-exhibition will be considered by Council at its November Ordinary Meeting.
