Henty Agricultural Show

The annual Henty Show returns on Saturday 14 February 2026, and it’s shaping up to be a fantastic day for the whole community.

Agricultural shows are a vital part of our regional life, bringing people together to showcase their passions, skills and creativity. Our dedicated Society members have been working hard all year to present another memorable show for you.

Our Main Pavilion will feature something for everyone, including crafting, painting, sewing, knitting, flower arrangements, jams, fruit and vegetables, eggs, cooking, poetry and photography.

The school competition displays will be located in their own dedicated area next to the pavilion, at the back of the wool shed.

Near the bush markets, rides, side shows, inflatables and photo booth, you’ll also find the Show & Shine, a ploughing demonstration, and — new for this year — a shearing demonstration by Charlie Dunn.

We’ll also have our traditional horse program, along with sheep, wool and cattle sections. In 2026, our chooks and roosters will be displayed in our upgraded poultry shed.

Our Master of Ceremonies, Steve Bowen, joined by Mel Naismith, will guide you through a full program of entertainment and competitions, including:
Doggy Dash, gumboot throwing, baby show, Showgirl/Showboy Quest, paper plane flying, whip cracking, sheaf tossing, dog jumping and more.

So mark Saturday 14 February 2026 in your calendar and come along to the Henty Show for a fun day out for all ages.
