Changes to Rates and Water Payments by Bar Code at Post Offices

Council wishes to advise that NAB no longer accepts post office payments from the bar codes on rates and water notices. Council is in the process of transitioning the payment by bar code to Australia Post but it unsure when the transfer will be finalised.

However, until then ratepayers can use one of the alternative payment methods outlined below:

• In person at a Greater Hume Council Customer Service Centre at Culcairn, Henty, Holbrook, Jindera or Walla Walla
• BPay payments through your bank
• Through the Greater Hume Council website (Your Rates section) by card
• Over the phone with Customer Service staff by card
• Enotices portal if registered for email notices

Council will advise when payments to Australia Post can be made.
